Groovizz Academy launches the first edition of GROOVE BOX 2026: a competition dedicated to the modular micro-home of the future. The challenge is to design an off-grid dwelling of up to 28 m² for a young professional couple — a space that balances efficiency, sustainability, and quality of life, elevating micro-architecture into a revolutionary design genre. Groove Box is open to architects, designers, engineers, students, and enthusiasts worldwide, in teams of up to 4 people. There are no geographic restrictions on the site: urban, rural, real or hypothetical. Contributions for selected projects up to €3,000.00. Special awards for university students, best environmental impact, and honourable mentions published on international architecture platforms. Registration deadline: August 31, 2026 — Submission deadline: September 30, 2026.
